Luxury Holiday Lodges & Cottages in Scotland
Here at Great Rental Properties, we have six self-catering holiday rental lodges throughout Scotland for you to choose from. We selected each property based on its desirability as a vacation destination, comfortable living space and spectacular views of the Scottish landscape.
Our properties provide the perfect jumping off points to explore along the northwestern coast, where on clear days you can see the Isle of Harris. Other properties let you delve deep into the central highlands, including Cairngorms, Glenlivet, Ross-Shire and Invernesshire. You will have the chance to get off the beaten path and away from the hustle and bustle of the major cities to just enjoy the scenery and a more relaxed pace of life out in the countryside.
All the Comforts of Home
We strive to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. All towels and linens are provided, and at most of our cottages we provide wood for the stove as well. Some of our rental properties even have the optional use of a hot tub for your relaxation and enjoyment. Rather than staying at a traditional hotel, our lodges and cottages offer privacy and all the comforts of home. We strive to deliver properties that give you a cosy place to come back to after a long day of exploring the natural wonders that Scotland has to offer. All of our properties are heated for your comfort and convenience.
Pet-Friendly Accommodations
We are big dog lovers at Great Rental Properties, so all of our vacation rentals are dog-friendly. However, we do ask that you respect the property and follow a few simple guidelines regarding your pets. There is nothing too crazy here. We just ask that you treat the property as if it were your own home and care for it as such. The surrounding areas of our cottages feature many walking paths where you can let your furry friend off the leash to have some outdoor fun.
Planning Your Visit
Scotland offers a moderate climate throughout the year but can sometimes reach extreme highs and lows. January and February typically deliver the coldest temperatures and July and August the highest. Because Scotland is so far to the north, winter days are extremely short and summer days extremely long. In the far northern reaches of the country, it sometimes does not get fully dark at all during the summer. Scotland is the birthplace of golf, and in the long days of summer you can even play golf at midnight! Come enjoy the picturesque countryside in comfort and luxury, contact us today.
